The Surfcamp in le Gurp is located in the north of the Medoc the heart of an unspoiled and authentic nature. At only 50 meters walking distance of the ocean and very close to shops. The nice and calm accommodation will bring you comfort and peace in either our fully equiped bungalows bungalows or the beautiful camping side. Welcoming and nice located the extraordinary surfing conditions on more then a 100 km white sandy beach with a good swell consistence will garantie relaxing and enjoyful holdiays. The surf classes and the available surf gear will ensure the aquisition of the basic knowledge of surifng and its environment.

Leaving the surfcamp a participant should be able to:

• Understand the tide and identify the time and place for having a safe suring session
• Know the rules of convivality and proiority in the water and learn to respect the other surfer
• Have a basic knowledge of the surf culture (techical, equipment, history, surfing destinations)
• Understand and use the signals on the beach and its codes
• Choose a board appropriate for its level

Finally he/she is able to explain it to others!!!

The classes will be held by qualified surf instructors who have their dilpome in teaching surfing and water rescue.
